Prayer is a priority at Christ Church.
We believe it releases the power of God to help us live our lives,at home, at work and in our city.
There are regular prayer meetings to pray for Christ Church and our various ministries and courses.
There are also prayer meetings that focus on praying for Cape Town and the nation.

We also have an emergency prayer chain that will mobilise a team of people to pray in a particular moment of crisis.
Contact Alison if you have a prayer need or want to find out more. (

When we pray, God hears us - we’re starting a conversation with the creator of the universe.
When we pray, we partner with God to seek His kingdom.

24-7 Prayer on Thursday 26th March 2020
12 Midnight – 12 midnight

We are praying for 2 really important things on Thursday:
  • Corona crisis
  • Praying for the search team for our new minister
Please book online for one hour – this really helps us as we can see how much cover we
have in a 24 hour period!
  • Pray at home
  • Pray in our prayer room – quite safe for small group as there is plenty of space (*this may change)
School is cancelled – if you are a teenager, why not consider booking a slot for the midnight hours?
You can pray on your bed!
