Focus is an opportunity for Christ Church Kenilworth to gather together, from across generations, traditions and services, as one family. There is a place for you at Focus. All are welcome!

Focus brings people from all four services together for a world class program that includes:

• Teaching from International and local speakers

• Band-led praise and worship as well as quieter liturgical moments and opportunities to share communion

• Seminar streams from Alpha, Church’s Ministry among the Jewish People (CMJ), Young Adults Ministry and early morning devotions

• A full CCKids and Ambies program in the mornings and plenty of fun activities for the afternoons

• Main meals and mid morning teas together

The Cederberg Weekend Away is more aimed at hikers and campers and not as accessible to everyone.

A limited number of day passes for 9 and 10 August will be available shortly before Focus. The price will be approximately R665/person, which includes one main meal and one tea.

Yes, some meals are included! Lunch on Friday, dinner on Saturday and two generous mid-morning teas with snacks are included in the price. These times are more than just meals; they are opportunities to connect as a family!

Besides the two main meals provided, we’d love to see people sharing and preparing meals together. The braai facilities are fantastic. And yes, Koswerf is a great takeaway and restaurant facility, check out their menu here.

Yes, children from the age of 2 years are charged at standard rates.

There are 3 different types of rondawels available. All have one bathroom with a shower, kitchen and braai facilities: See options and pictures here.

• The basic 4-sleeper has one bedroom (with a double bed) and has two single beds in the lounge.

• The luxury 4-sleeper has one bedroom (with a double bed) and has two single sleeper couches in the lounge with air-conditioning

• The luxury 5-sleeper has two bedrooms (one with a double and the other with two single beds) and a single sleeper couch in the lounge with air-conditioning

That's great! There are many who want to share, including a large contingent of younger, older and single adults. When you fill out the booking form:

1. Select “single person rondavel sharing”

2. Make a note about any preferences you have for who you want to share with.

3. If you don't have any preferences, make a note of your age, gender and we will allocate you to a single-sex rondawel.

The max per campsite is 6 people, including children. All stands are approximately 81m². Each with 15A power point and private braai facilities. There are great ablution facilities, washing-up facilities and laundry. See a preview of the campsite and facilities here.

The main auditorium where the talks and meals will be taking place is a 5 - 10 minute walk along a paved road from the rondawels and campsite. Please email us at focus@cck.org.za with any specific accessibility concerns.

Besides the hot pools and water slides, there is an outside gym and fantastic facilities for tennis, minigolf, table tennis, volleyball and stunning routes for walking, bird watching, hiking and mountain biking.

There will be plenty of fun activities and excursions to opt into: from art workshops and pilates classes to bird walks and field trips. Watch this space for more details!

You bet! CCKids and Amplify will be in full operation during morning sessions. In the afternoons there will be lots to keep them entertained, from waterslides, to table tennis, to mini golf etc. Parents will just need to ensure there is sufficient supervision.
